Concept & Moodboard

The concept and mood board work is the preparatory phase that clarifies the project's language from the outset. The “feel” of the space is defined by bringing together color, material, texture, and style; thus, decisions throughout the process are not random but proceed within a single framework.

The purpose of a mood board is not just to create an inspiration board. It is to see how choices complement each other, to concretize the desired atmosphere, and to quickly compare different options. This saves time, especially during the decision-making phase.

During the work, several conceptual directions can be created according to the needs of the space, and the most appropriate line is pursued. Thus, the project takes on a consistent identity rather than being swayed by “likes.”

The delivery generally includes color–material–texture combinations, reference images, and a brief summary of the concept. This output forms the basis for the language to be used in subsequent steps.

Planning & Layout (2D)

Planning & layout is the fundamental stage that determines the function and flow of your space. This section clarifies where each area will be located, how circulation will work, and how furniture placement will make the space usable.

Good layout is a prerequisite for aesthetics; because it is generally impossible to correct a poorly designed plan with “decoration” later on. Therefore, progress is made by considering the balance between dimensions and ergonomics, door/window relationships, and daily usage scenarios.

This work becomes even more critical in situations requiring renovation: making the right decisions regarding walls, doors, and kitchen-bathroom layouts directly impacts both the budget and the timeline. The goal is to establish a clear and logical plan that avoids surprises during implementation.

The delivery generally includes technical/narrative 2D plans showing layout proposals and area uses. This forms the volumetric backbone of the project.

Material & Furniture Selection

Material and furniture selection is where the design takes shape. Choices are made based not only on aesthetics but also on realistic factors such as durability, budget, and availability. The right match determines the comfort and longevity of the space.

At this stage, a wide range of items are reviewed, from floor coverings to lighting fixtures, fabric textures to accessory details. The goal is to find complementary pieces that suit the spirit of the space and are technically feasible.

To prevent information overload, selections are presented as a “curated selection.” This way, instead of getting lost among endless options, you can focus on the ones best suited to your project and move forward quickly.

The delivery generally includes a list of selected products/materials or a reference information set. This document serves as a roadmap for the purchasing and implementation process.
