Needs & Layout
The work begins with the dimensions of the space and how the furniture will be used each day. Storage needs, access clearances, and surrounding fixed elements are considered together.
The internal layout is resolved as carefully as the exterior. Shelf spacing, drawer sizes, door clearances, and cable routes are defined around the intended use.
The aim is to design furniture that belongs in the space and makes daily use easier, rather than simply filling an empty area.
3D Design & Materials
Once the layout is agreed, we develop the furniture’s form, proportions and details in relation to the room’s materials and colors.
3D visuals show the door layout, material transitions, and the furniture within the space before fabrication. Necessary revisions are made at this stage.
The approved model becomes the basis of the technical drawings, keeping the visual decisions and fabrication file aligned.
Technical Drawings & Fabrication File
The approved design is developed into plans, elevations, sections, and the necessary details so it can be issued to a fabricator.
Key dimensions, material thicknesses, junctions, and hardware notes are shown according to the project scope. Critical information is not left to visuals alone.
The file can be shared with your chosen workshop or cutting service. Final checks related to machinery and fabrication methods remain with the selected fabricator before production.

The furniture’s proportions, internal organization, and material choices are developed around the space and everyday use.
Custom furniture design is more than adapting a ready-made product to a different size. The piece is developed from the ground up around its setting, storage needs, frequency of use, and fabrication method.
The service focuses on design and documentation. ARLITECT does not manufacture furniture directly; cutting, delivery, or installation coordination in Turkey may be quoted separately when requested. Fabrication and installation remain the responsibility of the relevant third-party teams.
3D images and technical drawings are outputs of custom furniture developed from the ground up. If the design is already approved and you only need visualization or technical files, either service can be commissioned independently.
How We Develop Custom Furniture
The first step is to define what the furniture needs to solve. Dimensions, storage requirements, patterns of use, and selected references are brought together to develop the layout options.
Once the form and materials are approved in 3D, we prepare furniture drawings for fabrication. The result is a dimensioned, annotated set that the fabricator can review and use.

Scope
The scope may cover one piece, a group of items within the same room, or a fitted furniture system. Requirements, dimensions, and expected deliverables are agreed at the start.
Process
The process begins with a review of dimensions, photographs, and requirements. After the layout and 3D design are approved, the material, detail, and technical drawing set is prepared. Revision stages follow the agreed proposal.
Deliveries
Depending on scope, deliverables include 3D visuals, dimensioned plans, elevations and sections, critical details, and material and hardware notes in PDF, with DWG drawings where required by the technical team.
Fabrication, Delivery & Installation Scope
For projects in Turkey, cutting and delivery coordination can be scoped separately on request. Installation may be quoted separately where the project and location conditions are suitable.
For international projects, the service is limited to remote custom furniture design, 3D visualization, and technical drawing files. Fabrication, logistics, and installation are managed by the client with a local supplier.
Depending on the project, we can arrange on-site reviews in Istanbul or provide remote design and drawing support for work across Turkey and internationally.
